- How Things Fly
- Join Harry for a couple of hours
of fun as he uses everyday household items to explain the mysteries of
flight. This program is full of hands on activities and
experiments for the entire group.
- Arithmetic for
Aviators - Harry uses "fun"
math problems to explain how to use an aviator's slide rule called an
"E6B". The E6B is a mechanical slide rule designed in the 1920's
and is still used today by pilots all over the world.
- Understanding
Weather - This is a "hands
on" class designed to give the students an understanding of how various
weather
phenomena are formed. This program is full of hands on activities
and experiments.
- An Introduction
to Aviation Careers - This slide presentation gives an overview
of various aviation careers. Harry explains education
requirements, salary, and more. This program runs about an hour
and a half.
- United States
Aviation History - This slide presentation, in its entirety,
is about ten hours. It highlights the rich history of
aviation in the United States.
